The Grammy Awards are considered by many to be the pinnacle of music recognition, and for others it’s just another awards show to boost TV ratings and make money. No matter how you look at them, they do one thing very well and that is to showcase new music.
I have been trying for years to figure out how they choose their “Song of the Year,” and I very rarely get it. My reaction every year is an open-mouthed “say what,” at what they choose. But all the songs are great, and it just reinforces my opinion that new classics are written every year. Here are some samples of 2010 Grammy Award winners.
